Privacy for DineQube apps

Updated 27 October 2026 · Restaurant Partner, Hotel Staff & Rider

This app-specific notice explains the Android workflows provided to authorized restaurant and hotel personnel. Read it alongside the DineQube Privacy Policy. Available features depend on your organization, role and enabled services.

Accounts and work data

DineQube processes work email, name, user/business identifiers, role, session details and permissions for authentication and access. Optional profile information may include a phone number and photo. Google sign-in uses basic identity information such as account identifier, name, email and profile photo; these apps do not request access to your Gmail inbox or contacts.

Workflows may process orders, menu items, guest requests, room/table identifiers, delivery contacts and addresses, assignment/status changes, timing, payment collection records and operational history. Your restaurant or hotel manages business access. Use guest and customer information only for authorized work.

Rider location

With Android permission, Rider uses approximate or precise device location. While online, its foreground service may continue receiving device location with a visible notification. Location, accuracy, timestamp and available movement information are submitted for accepted active assignments to support delivery tracking. Relevant location may be visible to your restaurant and delivery customer. Going offline, signing out or revoking location permission stops that tracking service. Hotel Staff and Restaurant Partner do not request location permission in these builds.

Qube Ai text and live voice

Where enabled for an authorized Restaurant Partner account, Qube Ai processes your submitted questions, relevant business context and replies. Text conversation history, preferences, reminders and approved operational proposals may be stored for the feature. Retention and history controls depend on the service and account configuration.

When you start a live voice call and allow the microphone, microphone audio is streamed to the configured Google Gemini Live service for speech understanding and spoken responses. Conversation transcripts and relevant authorized business data may also be processed. This is cloud audio processing, not only on-device speech. The current app flow does not implement storage of raw call recordings by DineQube; provider processing is governed by the configured service and provider terms. Ending the call stops its microphone session. Rider and Hotel Staff voice alerts play work notifications; they do not require microphone permission.

If device dictation is used, your configured Android speech-recognition service may process speech remotely. Recognized text can be sent to Qube Ai when you submit it. Avoid unnecessary personal data, passwords, OTPs or payment secrets in AI conversations. Review AI output before making operational decisions.

Photos, printers and Android permissions

Rider and Hotel Staff optionally let you select a profile photo using Android's system picker without broad photo-library access. Restaurant Partner uses Bluetooth permission to list/connect paired thermal printers and print selected bills or KOTs, which can contain customer and order information. Protect printed information.

Notification, microphone, location and Bluetooth access use Android's official prompts where required. Partner may offer an Android “Appear on top” setting for incoming-order alerts. Permission can be denied or changed in Android Settings; this may limit the associated feature. No payment, order or guest access is granted merely by allowing an Android permission.

Sharing summaries and diagnostics

If you choose WhatsApp or Android Share, a selected summary/export is passed to the app and recipient you choose. Depending on your authorization and selections, it can include room, request/order, amount, timing or guest information. Review it before sharing. Other apps and recipients control their received copies; closing DineQube does not delete those copies. PDF/image exports may be temporarily cached, and copied text uses the Android clipboard. No WhatsApp message is sent automatically merely by viewing a summary.

Support/diagnostic sharing is initiated by you and may include operational account identifiers, app/device status and sync information. Check the content before choosing a recipient.

Notifications, downloads and technical data

Hotel Staff and Restaurant Partner may register Firebase Cloud Messaging device tokens for work alerts. Rider currently checks assignments using its online service. Alert preferences, device labels, session/device identifiers, app interactions, IP addresses, timestamps and error/security logs support operation, diagnostics and access revocation. The APK download server also processes ordinary HTTP information such as IP address and requested file to deliver downloads and maintain security.

The download page uses no advertising tracker, login form or analytics SDK. These app builds do not include advertising SDKs. DineQube does not sell personal data to advertisers.

Providers, security and retention

Information is processed as needed by the relevant business and providers for hosting, authentication, email, push delivery, maps, speech and AI. User-selected sharing apps process the exports you send under their own policies. Processing may occur in provider locations outside your country. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.

API connections use HTTPS; app session credentials use platform-protected storage. Security also depends on your device, account and organization. No system can promise absolute security. Work, transaction, security and support records are retained according to service needs and applicable obligations; periods vary by record type. Uninstalling an APK does not automatically delete server-held business records.

Your choices and requests

You can review Android permissions, stop voice calls, change available alert preferences and sign out. For access, correction, account closure or deletion, use DineQube account and data requests or email contact@dineqube.com. Identity/authority is verified before action. Organization-managed accounts may require your restaurant or hotel administrator, and some records may need lawful retention. These are business tools and are not directed at children.
